NORMAN CERIOTTI

Hey everyone! My name is Norman Ceriotti and I'm a professional drummer from Milan, Italy.
I started playing drums in 2010, at the age of 15. Since then, I've been playing and composing for many bands of different genres, from pop to technical death metal.

During my career, I had the opportunity to study with many great drummers like Riccardo Merlini, Marthyn Jovanovic, James Payne and Eugenio Mori. In 2019 I received my first degree in Music Theory in the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music course, while in 2021 I received the second one in Drum Kit Performance in the University of West London course.
Even if I work mostly with extreme metal, I studied professionally and enjoy to play every kind of music.

I've been working as a part-time session drummer and drum teacher since 2017 and as a full-time musician since 2018, after I left the Aerospace Engineering course at the Politecnico di Milano university and the job as a mechanic for the SWM Supermotard Factory Team, which allowed me to pay for the music studies I wanted to attend. From 2017 on I had the honor of teaching to more than 100 students from all around the world and to play live and record with more than 60 different bands worldwide.

I've always been super interested in composing and working on my own music, for that reason I started and joined many different bands through the years. At the moment I am playing full time in Defamed, Clairvoyance, Locus Animae, Ego the Enemy, Roll For Initiative and many other side projects.

At the moment I am a full time teacher in two different music academies in Italy. I joined Musik Factory as a drum teacher in 2019 and Ultimate Music Training as a drum coach in 2022. I also teach to private students both in face-to-face and online lessons.

In 2022 I started offering management services for bands and artists, first with Broken Image agency and then as a freelancer. My aim with this kind of job is to help other musicians with their releases, social network posts and promotion on YouTube and Meta.

I am doing what I love and couldn't be any happier!
